Jonathan Cleek went 3-0 at No. 3 singles and Carpinteria’s top two doubles teams won all their sets in a 13-5 non-league tennis win over Channel Islands on Wednesday.
“We were able to get everyone in and they all performed admirably,” Carpinteria coach Charles Bryant said.
A highlight for the Warriors was the team of Damian Vega/Armando Galindo winning the first match they have ever played, 6-3.
“It was a fun team atmosphere, coupled with a strong turnout of family, friends and students supporting the boys,” said Bryant.
Carpinteria is now 2-0 overall.
