Carpinteria fell short in its comeback from a four-goal deficit and lost 4-3 to Oaks Christian in a Tri-Valley League boys soccer match on Friday.
Ruben Andrade, Francisco Arroyo and Benjie Garcia scored for the Warriors to give Oaks Christian a scare. But the Lions hung on for the win.
“It has been a challenging season for our young Warrior squad and credit goes to everybody involved who have always kept it positive,” said Carpinteria coach Leo Quintero.
