Esther Lee knocked down five 3-pointers and scored 24 points to lead Westmont to a hard-fought 62-52 nonconference women’s basketball win over Bethesda on Friday night at Murchison Gym.
Kelsie Sampson scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds while battling in the paint with Bethesda’s 6-5 center Emile Munnandibu.
Westmont got a big game from its bench. Karlie Storkson led the reserves with five rebounds and blocked two shots to go with her six points.
Westmont (9-4) enters GSAC play next week at Biola.
