Shaquille Moore, a 6-4 freshman guard, led Moorpark with 22 points and 15 rebounds.
The Raiders used a 15-6 run to open the second half, extending the lead to 50-32 with 7:19 to play.
Moorpark outshot SBCC 38 to 26 percent and won the rebound battle 54-38. Santa Barbara made just 3-of-25 from 3-point land while the Raiders were 7-16.
“Moorpark did a good job on the offensive boards in the first half and we couldn’t put anything in the bucket in the second half,” said coach Morris Hodges. “We’ve got to get other guys contributing besides Prince.”
SBCC plays at Cuesta on Saturday at 7 p.m.
