C.J. Miller scored 21 points, and Westmont shot 60 percent in the second half to pull away from Saskatchewan and win the Tom Byron Classic, 84-74, on Tuesday night.
Miller earned tournament MVP honors after shooting 7 of 12 from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 from the 3-point line.
But it wasn’t all Miller. Four other Warriors scored in double figures. Kyle Gordon tallied 15 points, all-tourney team selection Mantas Drungys had 14, Cory Blau 11 and Nate Marsing chipped in 10 points.
Dadrian Collins scored 19 points to lead Saskatchewan.
