2010 Olympic Bronze Medalist Erin Pac Blumert

You can participate in Winter Olympic Games events in warm and sunny Santa Barbara.

To commemorate the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, Prevail Conditioning Performance is hosting an event that will feature six Olympics sports. On Saturday, Feb. 1, four-person teams can compete in bobsled, luge, speed skating, freestyle skiing, ski jump and biathlon at the local facility at 126 E. Haley Street, Suite A8.

Participants also will have the opportunity to meet 2010 Olympic women’s bobsled bronze medalist Erin Pac Blumert of the U.S.

Teams (2 males, 2 females) can register at [email protected]. The entry fee is $40 per team. Each team must choose a country to represent in the competition. Country selection will be done on a first-come, first-serve bases.

Each team member must complete three events, with one male and one female competing in all six events. The top three teams will receive prizes and an autographed picture of Pac Blumert. She and brake-woman Elana Meyers took bronze in the two-woman bobsled event in Vancouver.
