Carpinteria struggled to get anything going and dropped a 3-0 decision to Grace Brethren in a Tri-Valley League girls soccer match on Monday.
“We were just flat from the warmups on, and I will take the blame for that,” Carpinteria coach Charles Bryant said. “I almost think we were looking past this team for whatever reason. We had bad defensive breakdowns early and often that led to all three first half goals.”
Bryant said the Warriors will regroup at practice on Tuesday.”
