Laguna Blanca gave up two goals late in the first half and dropped a 3-1 decision to Thacher in a Condor League girls soccer match on Wednesday.
The Toads scored on a 40-yard free kick and looping shot.
In the second half, Clara Madsen took the ball down the right side and crossed it to her younger sister, Phoebe, who tucked it away to make it 2-1.
Thacher added a third goal late in the match.
“I felt our performance perhaps deserved better but such is the game of soccer sometimes,” said Laguna coach Kevin Shertzer.
The Owls are 2-4-1 on the season.
