Hannah Rogers and Jordyn Lilly scored in double figures for Bishop Diego’s girls basketball team on Saturday, leading the Cardinals to a 44-24 victory over Orcutt Academy.
Lilly totaled 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists and six steals. Rogers posted 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Sienna Gonzalez pulled down 10 rebounds.
“I was very happy and pleased with how everyone played, especially our bench, I thought did a great job defensively,” said Cardinals head coach Jeff Burich.
Bishop Diego (7-4) opens up Frontier League play on Tuesday at Malibu.
