Bishop Diego dominated Malibu from the opening tip and rolled to a 47-19 victory in a Frontier League girls basketball game on Thursday night.
“We scored more points in the first quarter than they did in the whole game,” Bishop coach Jeff Burich said. “There wasn’t a whole lot wrong tonight.”
Jordyn Lilly had 15 points to lead the Cardinals, while Hannah Rogers scored 14 and Ali Everson added 12 poins.
Bishop Diego (13-6, 6-1) plays Saturday morning at Grace Brethren in Simi Valley. Tip-off is at 11 a.m.
