Dylan Pierce scored the go-ahead goal and freshman Michael Bow Thomson added the eventual game winner in Bishop Diego’s 3-2 boys soccer win over St. Bonaventure on Thursday in a Frontier League match.
With score tied 1-1, Pierce scored in the 61st minute. Thompson made it 3-1 in the 74th minute off an assist from Jacob Brosnan.
Abel Gonzalez gave the Cardinals a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute of the first half. St. Bonaventure tied the score nine minutes into the second half.
Bishop Diego is 2-4-2 on the season and 1-1 in league.
