Laguna Blanca got a balanced attack and beat Orcutt Academy, 60-47, in a non-league boys basketball game on Thursday.
Four players scored in double figures for the Owls (4-6), led by Jack Kinsler with 14 points. Spencer Wyatt scored 13 points, Stephen McCaffery tossed in 12 and Andrew Vignolo chipped in 10. Pierce O’Donnell scored 9 points.
Kinsler and Wyatt combined for 17 assists.
The Owls host Cate in their Condor League opener on Saturday.
The Owls never trailed but Orcutt Academy cut the deficit to two to start the fourth. The Owls had a balanced scoring attack as four starters scored in double digits. Jack kinsler scored 14, Spenser Wyatt had 13, Stephen McCaffery had 12 and Andrew Vignolo had 10. Pierce O’donell had 9. Kinsler and Wyatt also combined for 17 assists. The Owls open condor league play with at cate school on Saturday.
