Rayshaun Moore scored 10 of his 18 points in the third period, leading Carpinteria to a 47-36 non-league basketball win at Laguna Blanca on Monday.
Moore and Omar Miranda combined for 34 of the Warriors’ points. Atty Roddick scored 12 points for Laguna Blanca.
Behind Moore’s scoring, Carpinteria took over the game in the third period after trailing 21-19 at halftime. The Warriors also played some tough defense, holding Laguna’s top scoring threat, Spencer Wyatt, without a point.
Carpinteria improves to 8-6 while Laguna Blanca falls to 3-6.
