Carpinteria got back into the win column in Frontier League play with a 62-48 decision over visiting Fillmore on Wednesday.
The Warriors, who were beaten by Nordhoff in their previous league game, got 18 points from Duncan Gordon and 16 points each from guards Omar Miranda and Rayshaun Moore.
“This is the second game in a row with three guys combining for at least 50 points,” Carpinteria coach Johnny Ward said.
Ian Craddock contributed eight points as Carpinteria improved to 5-1 in league and 14-7 overall.
The Warriors had the lead for the entire game.
“Omar did a great job controlling the tempo and pushing the ball up the floor,” Ward said. “Duncan did a great job of getting to the rim in transition where Omar was able to find him for easy lay-ups.
Moore took over in the third quarter, scoring 11 of 16 points when Miranda got into foul trouble.
Ward praised the play of Collin Nathanson off the bench.
