Bishop Diego featured four players with 11 points in Saturday’s 55-46 Tri-Valley League victory over Santa Clara.
Peter Kwock, Will Busch, Nick Busch and Grant Sexton shared the load for the Cardinals, who improve to 10-4. Their next game is next Saturday at Mission Prep.
Bishop Diego outscored Santa Clara 20-14 in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. Head coach Dean Prophet noted a defensive adjustment in the second half helped out.
“The boys hung in there and took care of the ball down the stretch,” Prophet added.
