Grant Sexton led a fourth quarter surge, and Bishop Diego stormed back from an 11-point deficit to beat St. Bonaventure, 48-45 in a wild Tri-Valley League boys basketball game on Wednesday night.
Sexton scored all 11 of his points in the fourth quarter as the Cardinals outscored the Seraphs 22-8 in the period. They trailed 37-26 after three quarters.
Nick Busch led Bishop Diego with 12 points and Thomas Lash added 10.
The Cardinals (11-5, 2-0) play host to Oak Park on Friday.
