Santa Barbara High created more scoring chances but couldn’t find the finishing touch and ended up in a scoreless draw at Channel Islands on Tuesday night.
“We had the better of play and more goal-scoring opportunities, but nonetheless came up only with a draw,” said Dons coach Jeff Johnson.
It was the second shutout for the Dons.
“I would like to give credit to our back row for being organized and for our ladies not conceding any goals,” Johnson said. “We are missing five starters right now, so everything is a bit makeshift at the moment.”
