Anyssa Cabral scored a game-high 15 points to lead Fillmore past San Marcos’ girls basketball team on Saturday 34-24.
Roxy Sandoval’s eight points led the Royals on offense while Maria Herrera’s five points and 17 rebounds helped out on both ends of the floor. Leigh Edwards added two points and 12 rebounds.
The Royals (1-3) host Santa Paula on Monday.
