Dos Pueblos lost the lead in the fourth quarter and dropped a 43-36 girls basketball decision to host Rio Mesa on Friday in the Gold Coast Classic.
The Chargers led 26-22 at the end of the third quarter.
“We made a couple of turnovers and missed a few scoring opportunities and the next thing they’re up by five,” DP coach Phil Sherman said.
Emi Parker scored 14 points and Brandi Jimenez added points for the Chargers (3-2), who play St. Joseph at 4 p.m. Saturday at San Marcos.
