Laguna Blanca goalkeeper Mikey Hawker made some big saves in the second half to preserve a 0-0 draw with Bishop Diego in a crosstown boys soccer match on Tuesday.
It was the second match for Laguna Blanca (1-0-1) and the opener for Bishop Diego.
“I thought it was a good game,” Laguna Blanca assistant coach Daniel Torres said. “Both teams played well. It almost felt like the teams were 6-7 games into the season. I think we can learn a lot from this game. I’m glad we’re getting tested.”
