Laguna Blanca was blanked by Santa Clara, 2-0, in its boys soccer home opener on Thursday.
“I thought we played well enough to win the game but we just didn’t score,” Laguna Blanca assistant Daniel Torres.
Santa Clara scored on an own-goal and a ball fumbled by the goalkeeper.
“It was just one of those days,” said Torres.
The Owls are 1-1-1.
