Dos Pueblos’ boys basketball team was held to a season-low in points in Monday’s 35-22 loss to Rio Mesa at the Venture Kiwanis Tournament.
Erik Olson’s team-high 10 points led the Chargers. Freshman Marcellous Gosset and senior Derek Abbott received praise from their coach for solid performances.
“Unfortunately we had a hard time scoring and only shot 20% from the field,” reported Chargers head coach Joe Zamora.
Dos Pueblos continues play in the tournament on Thursday against Santa Clara.
