Santa Ynez’s boys basketball team posted a 57-45 victory over Bishop Diego on Saturday in the championship game of the Fillmore Tournament.
“We just could not score in the second half,” said Cardinals head coach Dean Prophet.
The Cardinals were led in scoring by Will Busch’s 12 points. Sam Kwock added eight.
Bishop Diego (3-2) has its next game on Monday against Rio Mesa in the opener of Carpinteria High’s Jim Bashore Holiday Cage Classic.
