Santa Barbara High celebrated its first home basketball game of the season by blowing out Fillmore, 87-48, on Monday night.

Isaiah Tapia made 5 of 7 3-pointers en route to a game-high 19 points to lead the Dons. Bolden Brace chipped in 14 points and Noah Burke added 11. Jack Baker dominated in the paint, blocking 10 shots and grabbing 15 rebounds to go with his five points.

Santa Barbara did a nice job distributing the basketball, dishing out 24 assists.

The Dons (5-1) roared out to a 34-7 lead by the end of the first period and led 54-25 at halftime.

?It was nice getting to play at home for the first time this season,? said Gil.

The Dons are home again Tuesday night against Pacifica.
