Jack Baker threw down four dunks and four players scored in double figures as Santa Barbara routed Triumph Charter, 86-26, in its second pool-play basketball game at the Simi Valley Tournament on Wednesday.
Baker had 15 points, Isaiah Tapia scored 14 and Bolden Brace and Ben Clay each added 12 points for the Dons (3-0).
Tapia hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter as Santa Barbara raced to a 25-2 lead.
“We had four players in double figures and shot the ball well,” Santa Barbara assistant Andy Gil said. “We played solid defense and high in intensity. Everyone got to play significant minutes.”
Santa Barbara will next play host Simi Valley on Friday. A Dons win will put them in the championship game on Saturday.
