The Providence Patriots advanced to the VCA “I-Charge” Tourney with a 47-37 victory over Kings Christian of Lemoore.
Matthew Eaton poured in 30 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, leading Providence to a 47-37 boys basketball win over Kings Christian of Lemoore in the semifinals of the Valley Christian Academy “I-Charge” Tournament on Friday in Santa Maria.
The win puts the Patriots in Saturday’s championship game.
Friday’s game was tied at 24-24 at the end of three quarters. The Patriots broke it open with a 23-point fourth quarter. Asher Luberto was big in the final quarter, hitting a pair of 3-pointers and scoring nine points.
