Jack Baker was the chairman of the board Tuesday night, grabbing a career-high 24 rebounds in Santa Barbara High’s 58-32 win over visiting Pacifica.
Baker scored 16 points and blocked three shots, leading the Dons to their sixth win in seven games.
Chris Wagonhurst, David Trujillo and Bolden Brace each scored eight points in a balanced Santa Barbara attack.
The Dons led by 14 (34-20) at halftime and came out in the second half and outscored the Tritons 12-1 in the third quarter.
“I’m proud of our defense tonight,” assistant coach Andy Gil said.
The Dons are off until next Wednesday when the open Channel League play at Dos Pueblos.
“After playing six games in a week it will be nice to get back to work at practice and clean some stuff up to be ready to travel out to DP next Wednesday for the start of league,” said Gil.
