Eight Bishop Diego players and four from Carpinteria were named to the All Tri-Valley League first team for football.
Bishop Diego defensive end Nolan Tooley was recognized as a lineman MVP.
League champion Oak Park had four MVPs: quarterback Chandler Whitbord, receiver Matt Byer and linemen Shawn Green and Justin Green.
First-team players for Bishop Diego are receiver BJ Murillo, linebackers Christian Pearson and Thomas Lash, running back Abel Gonzalez, quarterback Gabe Molina, offensive linemen John Samson and Joe Salcedo and utility player Anthony Carter.
From Carpinteria, quarterback Ian Craddock, running back Peter Ramos, tight end Duncan Gordon and linebacker Kevin Stein were selected to the first team.
