Laguna Blanca lost a tight four-set match at Bakersfield Christian in the first round of the CIF Division 4 State Girls Volleyball Tournament. The scores were 25-27, 29-27, 25-21, 25-15.
Grace Woolf recorded 16 kills, Phoebe Madsen had 15 kills and Luisa Cameron added 7 kills for the Owls, who finish the season at 15-5.
Phoebe Madsen and Hannah White led the defense with nine digs apiece. Setter Clara Madsen dished out 36 assists.
