Laguna Blanca’s football season came to an end Friday night in a 47-20 loss to Coast Union in the CIF-SS 8-man quarterfinals in Cambria.
Coast Union sacked Laguna Blanca quarterback Stephen McCaffery seven times and rolled up 540 yards in total offense.
Quarterback Angel Avina led the Broncos. He accounted for 360 yards of offense, passing for 130 yards and rushing for 230. He threw two touchdown passes.
Laguna Blanca, which beat Coast Union, 50-48, during the regular season, ends the year with a 6-4 record.
