Carpinteria sophomore safety Tim Jimenez will be traveling to Orlando, Florida in January to play in the Offense-Defense All-American Showcase Bowl.
The Offense-Defense Senior Bowl is a national all-star game that has featured current NFL stars Cam Newton, Dez Bryant, Golden Tate, and Joe Haden in its short eight-year history.
Jimenez will be playing in the Showcase Bowl, considered a “stepping stone” to playing in the Senior Bowl later in his high school career.
