Cate dropped its regular-season boys water polo finale to Nordhoff, 13-7, on Wednesday.
After downing Nordhoff in Ojai earlier this season, the Rangers came to play, scoring first and never looking back.
Zack Allen scored four goals and Alex Brown added two goals for the Rams
Cate finished 4-9 overall and 2-8 in the Tri-Valley League.
