Special Olympics Santa Barbara will host its first Regional Soccer Tournament at La Cumbre Middle School on Sunday, Nov 3.
Two Santa Barbara teams will compete against five teams from Ventura, San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria in an exciting day of competition.
The event also features a skills competition in dribbling, kicking and passing.
The public is invited to cheer on our athletes and join the fun.
“You too can be a fan of determination and catch the spirit of courage and joy that Special Olympics Athletes display as they compete,” says Tim Philbosian, Regional Sports Manager.
The opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. and the competition starts at 9:30. The closing ceremony and awards will be presented at 1:15 p.m.
