Three Cate boys finished in the top 10 at the Condor League cross country meet at Ojai Valley School on Wednesday.
The Rams scored 48 points and finished second behind Thacher (24).
Andrew Robbins (17:40, 2nd), Andrew Sinclair (17:59, 4th) and freshman Dylan Ell (18:12, 8th) led the Rams on the hilly three-mile course. Cate’s second pack of six runners all came in within 30 seconds of each other: Rei Imada (19:29, 17th), Jack Pruitt (19:44, 19th), Edward Zhu (19:49, 20th), Patrick Thomas (21:00, 21st).
Charlotte Monke of Cate won the girls race in 21:11. Lacy Douglas (24:05, 11th) and Rainbow Wang (24:20, 12th) were the next Cate finishers.
The Rams (49 points) finished second behind Thacher (20 points).
