Olivia Barroca served 15 straight points in the third sets for Providence, and the Patriots swept Orcutt Academy, 25-15, 25-21, 25-11, in a non-league girls volleyball match on Saturday.
Providence trailed 10-11 before Barroca went on her serving run. She finished the match with six aces.
Olivia LeSage paced the attack with 11 kills from the middle and right side. Maddy Niessen had 10 kills, handed out 10 assists and serve three aces. Her sister, Cody Niessen had 19 assists, four kills and three aces.
The Patriots were coming off a three-set loss against Villanova (25-18, 25-13, 25-18).
Providence is 9-5 and plays at top-ranked Cate on Wednesday in a Condor League match.
