Providence is learning how tough life is in the Condor League.
The Patriots lost a five-set match against Dunn on Saturday and fell to 1-3 in league play. The scores were 25-15, 16-25, 25-19, 23-25, 7-15.
Sophomore middle blocker Katie Hodson had her best game of the season with 11 kills (only two errors) and six blocks. Cody Niessen added 17 assists and Maddy Niessen and Ozie LeSage both had six kills. Freshman Abby Oppenhuizen contributed 12 digs.
“The team fought hard but struggled with Dunn’s tough serves,” said Providence coach Laura Newton.
Providence is now 8-4 overall.
