Santa Ynez captured a non-league win over visiting Dos Pueblos in Tuesday’s 26-24, 25-23, 11-25, 25-23 decision.
“Another rough error night for us. When our serving picked up we played really well,” commented Dos Pueblos head coach Todd Garrett. “Santa Ynez did a great job digging our attack.”
McKenna Goss, with 22, and Natalie Klapp, with 17, were the dominant hitters for the Chargers.
Garrett commended the play from liberos on both teams: DP’s Sam Sander and Santa Ynez’s Ariel Johnston.
