Bishop Diego found itself on the defensive Thursday night in a Tri-Valley League match at Oaks Christian.
The host Lions won the match 25-5, 25-9, 25-13, dropping Bishop to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in the TVL
“Despite what the scores may show, we played really well tonight, particularly on defense,” said Bishop coach Jason Donnelly.
Erin Linehan had 15 digs, Hanna Brand added 10.
“Oaks is in a class by themselves, but I was really proud of the way our kids fought until the end,” Donnelly said.
