Bishop Diego rebounded from a fourth-set loss and defeated Grace Brethren in a girls volleyball match on Thursday in Simi Valley.
“We battled tonight and it was nice to see us play some of our best volleyball in game 5,” said Bishop coach Jason Donnelly..
Annelise Morando led a balanced attack with 19 kills. Ellie Rouse and Colleen Duley each had 10 digs and Rouse picked up 10 digs. Jessica Brosnan sparked the defense with nine digs.
The Cardinals (4-7, 3-4) are back in action Monday at Oak Park.
