Bishop Diego swept nine singles sets and defeated Santa Clara 14-4 in a Frontier League girls tennis match on Tuesday.
“Singles had another great day playing consistent tennis to win nine of nine sets,” said Bishop coach Debbie Ekola. “I love the girls’ enthusiasm on and off the court. It’s fun to watch them notice their own improvement during matches.”
Together, Meredith Amspoker, Emilee Krablin and Sierra Faoro lost only two games.
Bishop Diego is 3-2 in league play and 3-3 overall.
