Bishop Diego’s singles players swept their sets, leading the Cardinals to a 13-5 Frontier League girls tennis win over Santa Paula on Thursday at the Municipal Courts.
Meredith Amspoker, Emilee Krablin and Sierra Faoro accounted for nine of the team’s points.
Kate Agnoli and Nicole Larson won two sets in doubles.
“Singles had a great day playing consistent tennis to win 9 of 9 sets,” said coach Debbie Ekola. “The Lady Cardinals continue to improve in consistency, movement and mental toughness with every completion.”
Bishop is 2-2 in league and 2-3 overall.
