GTen: Carpinteria takes over first in Frontier League

In a first-place girls tennis showdown in the Frontier League, Carpinteria rolled pass Nordhoff, 16-2, on Tuesday.

Carpinteria was aided by three forfeited sets by Nordhoff, which didn’t have enough players.

Kelsie Bryant went 3-0 without losing a game again for the Warriors and teammates Odessa and Kassandra Ni also won three sets.

“It was unfortunate they were missing a few players today,” Carpinteria coach Charles Bryant said. “I know the match would have been much closer and anticipate it will be the next time we play in a few weeks.”

Carpinteria is 11-1 overall and 5-0 in the Frontier League.
