Bishop Diego’s Meredith Amspoker lost two tight sets, and the Cardinals fell to Nordhoff 13-5 in a Frontier League girls tennis match on Tuesday.
Amspoker battled through three tough sets, beating Nordhoff’s No. 2 player Nikki Newman 7-5, and losing to No. 1 Julianna Adelman and No. 3 Inga Parkel by the scores of 5-7.
The doubles team of Camie Thompson-Pim Chitsanga posted a 2-1 record for the Cardinals (1-3, 1-2)
