Megan Caird shot a 38 to earn medalist honors for the second time this week, leading Dos Pueblos to a 203-253 win over Ventura on Thursday to finish Channel League play undefeated at 8-0 and the regular season at 14-0.
Mika Henrickson shot a 39, Miraya Ramirez and Jamie Sharpe were both at 41 and Leah Dunn finished with a 44 at Glen Annie Golf Course.
“We were once again very happy with the way the scores were grouped,” said DP coach Dan Choi. “After shooting our season low on Tuesday I wasn’t exactly sure how we were going to respond in the next match. We were a little too loose yesterday and I had to get on them a bit about staying focused. Just like they have all year they really came through and stepped it up today. It’s not always easy to continually play with a target on our backs, but our smart play and team depth helped us cap off a great season with another win.”
Next up for the Chargers is the league individual tournament next week at Soule Park in Ojai.
