Cate is the new No. 1 team in the CIF Division 4-A girls volleyball poll.
The Rams knocked off previously top-ranked Laguna Blanca in four sets in a Condor League match last Saturday. They?ve also beaten No. 3 Pacifica Christian and No. 5 Nordhoff this season. Their lone loss came against Viewpoint, the No. 4 team in Division 3-AA
In girls tennis, Carpinteria remains the top-ranked team in Division 5. Santa Barbara is No. 7 in Division 1.
Dos Pueblos is No. 3, Santa Barbara is seventh and San Marcos is 10th in the Division 2 boys water polo poll.
Cate is ranked fourth and Laguna Blanca is eighth in the Division 1 8-man football poll.
