The Channel League cross country meet scheduled today at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura has been moved to Dos Pueblos High due to a fire in Ventura.
A manure and hay fire that started Wednesday morning in Ventura was still burning and the smoky air led to the change of venue for the cross country meet.
The meet will start with JV races at 4 p.m., at Scott O’Leary Stadium on the DP campus. The first league meet of the season was held at DP in mid September.
