Led by co-captains Andrew Robbins and Andrew Sinclair, the Cate boys cross country team won a four-way meet with the San Marcos JV, Laguna Blanca and Bishop Diego.
The Rams scored 34 points to finish ahead of the San Marcos JV with 48. Laguna Blanca had 62 points and Bishop Diego had 90.
Robbins ran 17:33 and Sinclair was timed in 18:14 to finish 1-2 in the race. Dylan Ell (18:22), Ralph McAvoy (18:24), and Jack Pruitt (19:05) rounded out the scoring for the Rams.
In the girls race, won by San Marcos, Cate’s Charlotte Monke finished first in 20:28 and Rainbow Wang was third in 22:17. Emily Pearlman of the San Marcos JVs was second in 22:15. Elsa Robertson and McKenzie Funk of the Royals rounded out the top five.
