Thomas Fly poured in eight goals, and Carpinteria roared out to a 9-2 halftime lead en route to a 16-7 boys water polo win at Santa Maria on Tuesday.
“We had another quick start from our center position, and great team defense got us another win,” said Carpinteria coach Bryan Swarm.
Chris Fedderson and Zack Clayton each added three goals, as the Warriors improved to 5-7.
“Hopefully, this will turn into some confidence as we progress through our season,” said Swarm.
