Desiree Gillaspy of St. Joseph fired a 77, and that was enough for the Knights to hold off Santa Barbara High for the team title at the Pirate Invitational girls golf tournament on Monday at the Alisal River Course.
The Dons finished one stroke behind St. Joseph, 77-78. Isabella Doub shot an 80 and Eleonara DiCarlo fired an 92 for Santa Barbara.
Simi Valley finished third with an 80 and Righetti A was fourth at 81, beating Dos Pueblos by a “card-off.”
Megan Caird shot 87 and Jamie Sharpe an 88 for the Chargers. Melissa Jewkes was San Marco’s top scorer with an 86.
