Setter Andie O’Donnell did a good job spreading the offense, and San Marcos dominated Royal, 25-10, 25-12, 25-18 in a non-league girls volleyball match on Tuesday.
O’Donnell kept her hitters happy as she handed out 32 assists. Katie Kim, Carly Yarnell and Chloe Allen shared high honors for kills with seven apiece, while Anika Wilson added five. The team hit .300.
Defensively, Emma Harrah had six digs and Wilson chipped in five.
The Royals (2-0) also scored from the service line, ripping 12 aces. Wilson and Yarnell had three each.
